Hooking Up, For Real: A workshop for gay men ages 18-30
With all the gay characters on television, straight people co-opting "gay style", kids coming out in their teens and positive political change, you'd think this is a great time to be gay. So why isn't your gay life as good as it can be? Why is it difficult to meet and feel connected with other gay men?
This workshop, a joint presentation by Identity House and The Jewish Board's Gay and Lesbian Unit, will offer tools to help you deal with the drama and discontent. In four dynamic one-hour sessions (with a social break in between), we will look at the challenges in forming positive relationships with yourself, family, friends, co-workers and boyfriends.
The workshop will be interactive and supportive, facilitated by peer counselors and a licensed therapist. Pre-registration is required. Please call or email to pre-register.Sunday, Dec 5, 2004
